Flint will be getting a lot more attention this week when President Obama arrives to discuss the water crisis first hand.
Governor Rick Snyder also announced this morning that he’s asked for a private meeting with the President and Flint's mayor when he travels to Michigan on Wednesday.
The governor also says he’s back on drinking filtered Flint water for a month. He filled up some jugs at a downtown Flint restaurant and says he will drink the water while at work and at home to show filtered Flint water is safe.
It is still not known when tap water will be safe and the governor would not give any timetable.
The governor says he does want to meet with Obama to discuss continuing aid for Flint.
Some requests for federal help have been denied.
The president’s detailed plans are not yet known.
