In less than 24 hours the much anticipated plans for the Michigan Central Station's rebirth will be announced.

Corktown's central station is now painted blue, and Detroit is ready to witness Ford's future plans for the soon-to-be, no longer dilapidated train station.

On Tuesday morning, the automaker is expected to announce more details in a sold out party of sorts. Already, 5,000 people have RSVP's to the big event.

Ford Motor Company big-wigs, Governor Snyder and Detroit rapper Big Sean will be showcasing the direction forward.

Ford's investment is even motivating scavengers to give back bits and pieces of the iconic building.

On Friday, and anonymous thief let Ford know where to find a decades-old timepiece that once hung inside of the Michigan Central Station.

Ford is now hoping others will follow suit and help make old, new again.
