The NHL announced on Wednesday that Detroit Red Wings rookie Dylan Larkin was selected to the 2016 NHL All-Star Game.
Larkin, 19, leads all rookies with 14 goals and a plus-22 rating and ranks third in points and assists among rookies.
NHL All-Star Weekend will take place Jan. 30-31 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
Larkin is the first Red Wings player to be selected to the All-Star Game in his rookie season since Steve Yzerman in 1984. At that time, Yzerman, 18, was the youngest player to play in an All-Star game.
