Detroit police are investigating after the co-owner of Detroit Coney Island was found shot and killed on Thursday morning.
According to police, the 58-year-old man's body was found around 9:30 a.m. inside of the restaurant located on Schaefer at Deacon in southwest Detroit.
Family has identified the victim as Frank Juncaj.
Police say Juncaj owned the business for more than 30 years and was well liked. The restaurant, we're told, was opened for business at the time the body was discovered.
Police say they believe there was a robbery attempt when the suspect(s) shot Juncaj in the chest.
