An FBI agent is recovering after being shot while executing a search warrant.
It happened this morning in the area of Dacosta and Fenkell in Detroit.
The agent was taken to the hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening. Details on the exact nature of his wounds were not released.
He was taking part in a two-day, multi-agency operation targeting heroin and crack cocaine dealers and distributors in southeastern Michigan.
Four subjects have been detained in the shooting.
A search also targeted the area of Derby Street in Detroit.
