DETROIT (WXYZ) — The funeral service for fallen Detroit Police Officer Rasheen McClain took place Friday.
Officer McClain's funeral was held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 6 at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit on 23500 W. Seven Mile Road.
Family held a visitation on Dec. 4 and 5 at the Fisher Funeral home in Redford Township.
A public vigil was also held for the slain officer Monday, Nov. 25 at the Detroit Police Department's 12th Precinct.
Officer Rasheen McClain was shot and killed a few weeks ago in the line of duty. The suspect behind the shooting was arraigned in court on Thursday facing 16 criminal charges.
