DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are on the scene of a fatal hit and run on the city's east side.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. in the are of Warren and Dickerson.
Police say a gray vehicle sped up to go around another vehicle and hit the victim who was crossing the street.
The victim, a man in his mid-40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call Detroit police.
