Detroit Police are searching for the man who tried to kidnap a 16-year-old girl on Shakespeare near E. 8 Mile around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say the man got out of a black 4-door car with tinted windows, grabbed the girl and tried to shove her into his vehicle.
As the teen was fighting back, someone else saw what was happening, stopped to help, and the attacker got back in his car and drove off.
He's described as a black man with a dark complexion and a scruffy goatee. He appeared to be in his 40s, stood about 6' 2" tall and weighed about 200 lbs. He was wearing a black ball cap, black pants and brown shoes.
About 30 minutes after that attempted abduction, an 11-year-old girl was accosted by a man in a yellow car on Nottingham near Morang, about two and a half miles away from the first location.
The girl ran off after the man pulled up to her and asked for her name.
And while the descriptions of the vehicles involved are different, police say the descriptions of the men are similar.
Police are working to develop a sketch of the suspect.
