Detroit leaders came together Monday to discuss the progress of the Riverside Park expansion in Detroit.
Mayor Mike Duggan along with leaders from the Detroit International Bridge Company held a news conference this morning in southwest Detroit.
The expansion of the park near the corner of West Grand Boulevard is two years ahead of schedule. Part of the old Detroit News warehouse was also torn down Monday to make more room for this long-awaited park.
