DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a shooting at a home on Detroit's west side that injured a woman and a baby.
Officers say the woman answered a knock at the door at around 7:10 p.m. in the 16800 block of Freeland. When she opened the door, the masked suspect opened fire hitting her in the body.
At the time, the 23-year-old woman was holding a one-month-old baby girl who was grazed.

Police have not released the current conditions of either victim.
A third woman was in the house at the time and was not injured.
The circumstances of the shooting are under investigation.
