The Judicial Tenure Commission has just issued an expanded formal complaint against Livingston County Judge Theresa Brennan.
The commission now states that Judge Brennan knowingly made false replies to JTC during its investigation last year.

Judge Brennan is accused of not revealing a personal relationship with a State Police Detective who was the lead investigator in a murder case she presided over. She's also accused of other conflicts of interest, using her office for personal and campaign business and improper demeanor while on the bench.
She remains off the job but is still getting paid. Her docket is being handled by other visiting judges.
The next step is for Brennan's case to be scheduled for a hearing.
The JTC could suspend or remove Brennan permanently from the bench.
As the 7 Investigators first reported, retired judge Daniel Burress recently called for a Citizen's Grand Jury to investigate Brennan for Perjury and Obstruction of Justice. That is still pending with the state Court of Appeals.
