STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Sterling Heights police are investigating a murder-suicide involving a married couple which happened on Monday evening.
According to police, they were called to the home in the 14000 block of Shadywood around 5 p.m. Monday.
When they arrived, they found a female dead inside the house.
After further investigation, police said they found a male victim with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say the man and female were a married couple in their late 60s. They have not released their names because they are working on notifying the next of kin.
