A Chesterfield Township police officer rescued a runaway horse over the weekend.
Officers had tracked the horse as it ran down the road, and one eventually pulled in front of the horse, got out of his vehicle and was able to wrangle it.
The whole thing was captured on body and dash cam video, and it came to an end in the area of 23 Mile and Fairchild.

According to the police department, the horse was set to be put down when it escaped.
