Auburn Hills police have issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for a 1-month-old baby girl believed to be in her mother's custody.

The baby, Eliza Prowell-Smith, was last seen Friday at the Bloomfield Orchard Apartments complex in apartment 210 near S. Boulevard and S. Opdyke Road in Auburn Hills.

Eliza is described as African American with black hair and brown eyes. It is not known what she was wearing.

According to police, the baby's mother Amanda Prowell-Smith, 32, reportedly assaulted a family member at the apartment. Eliza was present at the time.

Eliza is believed to be with her mother, who has no known vehicle. It is unknown if she left in a vehicle or on foot. Police say the 32-year-old Amanda Prowell-Smith has a documented mental status and there are concerns that her daughter may be in danger.

Police said it was reported that the baby was not born in a hospital, does not have documented birth records and has not been seen by a doctor. Child Protective Services also notified police that two other children were previously removed from Amanda Prowell-Smith's care due to her mental health.

According to the police, Amanda has no money, no job and no means of taking care of a child.
