BIRMINGHAM, Mich. (WXYZ) — We are in the middle of Birmingham Restaurant Week. More than 20 restaurants are offering special lunch and dinner menus!
7 Action News reporter Syma Chowdhry checked out Big Rock Chophouse. She tells us why some restaurant week diners are already coming back for seconds.
Birmingham Restaurant Week is under way. It takes place on weekdays until next Friday.
We decided to check out the special menu at Big Rock Chop House. They are offering pre-fixed lunch and dinner specials - something for everyone.
Try new dishes or fan favorites like salmon.
This is one of Executive Chef Eric Voight’s favorites: “Spinalis, which is the Cadillac of basically a rib eye.”
These ladies have tried out the menu and came back for more!
“We were here yesterday and had a delicious lunch,” says Lorraine Golden.
“I had the steak and that’s fabulous too. That’s a great order,” says Marge McNally.
The steak has an up charge but Chef Eric says it’s delicious.
If you’re vegetarian, they have a great risotto. And don’t forget dessert there are plenty of options too - like the tuxedo cake
“White chocolate mousse, milk chocolate mousse, encapsulated in beautiful ganache with a dark chocolate macaroon on top.”
Birmingham Restaurant Week started on Monday and lasts until February 7th. More than 20 restaurants are participating- so get your appetite ready!
