When most people were hitting the malls for Black Friday deals, a couple of women from Akron, Ohio were looking for a steal.
The 29-year-old and 20-year-old women removed security sensors and stuffed $800 worth of lingerie into so-called booster bags that don't trigger security alarms.
The women left the Victoria's Secret store in Somerset Mall but were eventually caught by police.
Inside their car, arresting officers found $8,000 worth of merchandise from other stores. Police say the women were professional shoplifters.
"I do not know if they have criminal histories, but I can say that they are retail fraud individuals that specialize in certain stores," Sgt. Meghan Lehman said.
Police say store security recognized the woman as known shoplifters.
They face a long list of charges including second degree retail fraud and possession of criminal tools. They are currently out on bond.
