An overnight police standoff involving a person barricaded in a home in Madison Heights is now over.
The standoff had been going on since late Tuesday night at a home on Park Court, near 11 Mile Road and Dequindre Road.
It's not clear what led up to the standoff or if the person inside the home was armed.
Police on the scene told 7 Action News they had been negotiating with the person inside and used tear gas in hopes of getting that person to come out.
A SWAT team was on the scene, but has since left.
Police have not said if anyone was hurt.
