Thief hits Ferndale liquor store repeatedly over the last month

A Ferndale liquor store has been robbed repeatedly this month, and now surveillance video could be the key to getting the thief off the streets and stopping him from targeting other businesses along Woodward.

Investigators say this man has been relentless during the last few weeks, targeting the One Stop Liquor Store in Ferndale.

Surveillance video shows the guy kicking through the window two days ago on Woodward. He smashes his way inside, wasting no time.

Officers say in less than a minute, he stuffed a bag full of cigarettes and liquor.

But it's not the first or the second time he's hit this convenience store in the last 17 days. On July 2, and two days later on July 4th, the guy did the same thing.

Now investigators want you to take a good, hard look at him.

They believe he could be ready to strike again.

Officers say he's around 5'8, between 40 to 50-years-old, and what stands out is his hat. He's wearing a red and white Indiana University hat, with the #11 on it.
