The woman accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend in front of two children in Wixom on Friday has been charged.
Laricca Mathews, 37, is charged with open murder and felony firearm in the shooting death of Gabriel Dumas.
It is believed that she shot Dumas in the head. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The two children who witnessed the incident have since been returned safely to their mother.
She is currently being held without bond in the Oakland County Jail.
