Police officers in Washtenaw County have saved a man's life and it was all caught on video.
It was something that stunned onlookers, a 19-year-old boy sitting on the roof of a strip mall in Pittsfield Township - his legs dangling. He was threatening to jump.
Ashley Parker is the store manager at the Dollar General - she watched the whole thing unfold.
“I think it was crazy I don't know how in the heck he got up there,” says Parker. “I was hoping he didn't jump. It was crazy.”
But then something quite miraculous happened.
Pittsfield Township police officers were able to talk to the teenager and get on to the roof.
What happens next - with the 19-year-old on the edge, both literally and figuratively – was caught on video. You see an officer come from behind and pull the teen to safety.
“Always good to see cops doing good,” says Aliyah McKinney. “You know so many times we are seeing them in a bad light.”
