Snake bites woman at U of M botanical gardens

A 47-year-old woman is being treated after she was bitten by a snake at the University of Michigan botanical gardens.

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on Monday.

She was rushed to the hospital, but the woman's current condition isn't known.

The snake was not captured or identified. However, it is believed to be a rattlesnake.
