ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — One of the last dollar movie theaters in metro Detroit will shut its doors for good.
Allen Park Digital Cinemas is being sold due to being "unprofitable."
The theater's owner says it is losing money, so he sold it to a Belgian movie theater chain.
The sale is is expected to be final by the end of the month unless the city agrees to buy the property. On Tuesday night, the city council voted to discuss a deal for the property.
