New video has been released in the deadly crash involving a Livonia police officer.
The officer's dash-cam footage shows him finishing a traffic stop along I-96 Sunday.
As the officer is walking back to his vehicle, he stops and tries to jump out of the way of an oncoming car. Another driver hit his patrol car, sending it crashing right into him.
Police say the driver's car rolled over trapping him inside. That driver died at the scene. Police believe a medical emergency may have caused the accident.
The officer was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
