The families of two teens who were killed in a fiery crash on Saturday night are mourning the loss of their loved ones after the teens stole a car and crashed into a guard rail in Plymouth Township.
One family member who was too shaken up to go on camera said as heartbreaking as it has been, they want the wreck to be placed in front of the school as a reminder to kids to not make the same mistake.
Daqoya Carroll and Mark Wittrock, both 14, were killed after stealing a 1985 Mustang and racing through two towns at high speeds before crashing into a concrete barrier outside of Courthouse Grille in Plymouth.
Livonia Mayor Dennis Wright says the loss is devastating and there's only one thing left to do.
"Let kids know you just don't do things like this," he said.
