Highland Park police are searching for a Person of Interest in a murder who has escaped from custody.
Joseph Ivan Gray escaped after being taken to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit's New Center area. He is wearing a hospital gown, but is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Gray was taken into custody two days ago, in connection with a November murder. He is considered a Person of Interest in a fatal stabbing at a West McNichols apartment building on November 3.
Anyone with information about his current location is asked to call 911 immediately.
