As many as 80 seniors living in a special care facility in Livonia are being forced to move out with only a few hours notice.

People at the Ashley Court of Livonia Special Care Home for Seniors are outraged, wondering how their loved ones could be kicked out with almost no notice.

Many still don't know where they will sleep tonight or why this is happening.

At noon as many as 80 seniors living at the facility were suddenly informed they had to leave permanently.

Relatives say the place failed to pass inspections by the state of Michigan, but they don't have detailed specifics on actual violations.

Our cameras were not allowed on property along 7 Mile, but we could see people hurrying to pack up before the place closes.

Most of the seniors are being picked up by family, others will be getting some assistance from the state.

Meantime the staff is refusing to speak with us.
