Westland police are searching for a man who they say is a person of interest in the assault and robbery of a 71-year-old man.
According to police they are looking for Jack Edward Todd, 35.
Police say the 71-year-old man suffered multiple injuries, including skeletal fractures, when he was beaten and robbed in the early morning hours of Sept. 7. The injuries also caused the man to lose consciousness.
Todd is currently a parole absconder for assault with intent to commit robbery and identity theft convictions.
Anyone with information is asked to call Westland police at 734-722-9600. Do not approach him if you see him.
