Teens charged in fatal shooting at Eastland Mall

Three Detroit teens have been charged in connection with a shooting at Eastland Mall last weekend that left another teenager dead.

Brendon Stanton-Lipscomb 18, Demetrius Armour, 17, and Tyshon Taylor, 17, are charged with First Degree Murder and two counts of Assault with Intent to Murder. Stanton-Lipscomb has also been charged with felony firearm.

Tyrell Lane, 18, was shot and killed as he walked out of the Burlington Coat Factory in Eastland Mall around 5:52 p.m. According to Wayne County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Maria Miller, Stanton-Lipscomb shot Lane while being helped by Armour and Taylor.

It is believed the three also assaulted two other teens who were at the mall.

All three were arraigned on those charges Friday afternoon. They will be back on court n Jan. 13 for a probable cause hearing.
