Two people have died after been pulled from a pool at a Northville condo complex.

It happened at the Glens of Northville.

Police say a 31-year-old man and his 3-year-old son died at the hospital after being pulled from the pool, which is between 3 and 5 feet deep. Police say they were not swimming, but were playing at the pool when the incident occurred.

Rescue crews were called around 4:20 p.m. when a couple walking through the clubhouse notified the staff that someone was in the pool.

Staff members jumped in to try and save them.

No life guard was on duty at the time of the incident. However, the facility is not required to have one and people using the pool are advised to swim at their own risk.

The victims' names have yet to be released.
