Wayne police are investigating the death of a 58-year-old man Saturday evening and have a person in custody.
Police officers were seen going in an out of a home in the 4500 block of Chamberlain near Annapolis for several hours collecting evidence and interviewing neighbors.
Neighbors living nearby tell Action News a man and woman lived in the home and that a younger male relative, possibly a grandson, was visiting them from out of state. It is unclear whether he is the one in custody. Sources tell Action News the weapon used was an ax.
It is unclear at this time what led to the incident.
Police say it is an active an ongoing incident. Anyone with information should call Wayne police.
