SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — The criminal act was caught on a surveillance camera at a Coney Island near 10 mile and Lasher Road.
The owner reports a gratuity jar was stolen by a man Tuesday afternoon. The cash in the jar was tips for the employee who delivers to-go orders.
The owner said it's not the first time money has been stolen by a customer, however this time the thief stole the entire jar.
A photo shows the suspect wearing very light color dress pants and a darker long sleeve shirt, and glasses.
