LINCOLN PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) — It's Restaurant Report Card time and this week, Action News Reporter Andrea Isom went to see who's making the grade in Lincoln Park.
Ok, foodies! Let's go focus on our first eatery. Those with the highest number of priority violations, and one with none!
China Bowl in Lincoln Park may look beautiful, but what's here in black and white may not "bowl" you over.
So what is on the menu?
The chicken fried rice, the young chow fried rice and bacon!
On the last health inspection, China Bowl had some violations, like excessive food residue on can opener blades. Also, no soap at the hand sink. So did they fix those things? Yes! Now they're in compliance and there is paperwork proof!
A fast food trio had some priority violations. A Big Boys, Checkers and Subway on Lincoln Park's Outer Drive. The Big Boy had pink slime and black mold in the ice machine. The Subway didn't have hot water at the hand sink. Lastly, At the Checkers, the food thermometer was not operating properly.
Fortunately, the trio turned things around and now have no reason whatsoever to frown!
Now it's time to ring in the restaurant Report Card award because Wing Stop is on top!
The eatery had zero violations on its last health inspection.
