HARPER WOODS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Well, you all know what time it is when Wednesday rolls around! It’s Restaurant Report Card time!

This week, 7 Action News Reporter Andrea Isom visits a Japanese take-out spot, a pancake and waffle diner and a popular Philly steak place!

At the diner, there were eight priority inspections served up during the last visit.

Those include contact surfaces and utensils not being cleaned every four hours, cooks touching meat with bare hands and then not washing hands, eggs and sausage left out, and more.

The owner said he talked to his employees, and everything is now in compliance.

Next, at Yoshi Hibachi Grille, one customer said the food is better than at Benihana!

The last health inspection showed some priority violations, including no one washing their hands, and utensils and surfaces not clean.

The owner said during the four months it has been open, the staff is still getting its sea legs and the boss made a lot of changes.

Finally, Charley's Philly Steaks had zero mistakes and gets an A on the Restaurant Report Card!

So, as Andrea always says, should you chow down or put that fork down?!
