Rev. Jesse Jackson is in Detroit on Monday spoke about President Trump's recent comments regarding the NFL and players kneeling during the national anthem.
Jackson spoke at the UAW V.O.T.E. Local 174 on Livernois in Detroit.
We applaud the NFL players, coaches, owners and fans for standing up Sunday for free speech and justice," Jackson said in a release. "Your rights as an American citizen don't end when you step on a football field. President Trump's crude name calling is beneath the dignity of the office - way, way below."
