RIVER ROUGE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Two people have been pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in River Rouge, police confirm.

Three people were shot and one person was taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police say the incident happened on Beechwood Street near Eaton Street shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday night.
On Jan. 30, River Rouge officers on patrol in the 500 block of Beechwood Street were flagged down by a 44-year-old male who said he had been shot. The officers immediately called for backup and medical assistance to the scene, according to the public safety department.

An officer was then directed to a home where he discovered a 52-year-old black woman and 48-year-old black man were also shooting victims.
Medics declared the victims dead at the scene.
