A closure for construction on the M-1 rail has been postponed. Road closures were originally scheduled to begin August 17 at 8:00 p.m.
Once construction of this section of the M-1 project does begin, the eastbound detour will take drivers south on 3rd, east on Baltimore St. then north on Brush St. and finally rejoining E Grand Blvd.
The westbound detour will take drivers south on John R St., then west Milwaukee St., then north on Cass Ave. and last rejoining West Grand Blvd.
Pedestrian detour signs are scheduled to be posted.
Cars parked in work-zones along Woodward Ave. will be towed.
