A robbery attempt gone... right?
Surveillance video of an attempted robbery shows a man thwart his own plan to rob a vapor shop in Denver, Colorado on Sunday.
The Aurora Police Department posted this video of man walking into an E-cigarette store, sporting a Denver Broncos sweatshirt and dark sunglasses.
What happens next is only fitting for a slot on a 'World's Dumbest Criminals' TV show. The suspect approaches the counter, pulls out a gun and the weapon goes flying right out of his hand over the counter.
The man can be seen trying to hop the counter and retrieve the weapon, but the clerk gets to it first. Panicked, the suspect dashes out the entrance, kicking through the door.
Aurora Police say the man's weapon was a BB gun. Police are still searching for the suspect, and there is a $2,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
