Rochester Police and the Oakland County Sheriff's Office are looking for a 37-year-old Rochester Hills man in the United States on a work visa.

Wilberth De Leon was working from home on Thursday, Sept. 5 the last time he was seen. He works as an engineer for Continental, a German automotive supplier in Auburn Hills.

“I just want to know what has happened. What happened with my husband. I need answers," said Cecilia Carrillo, Wilberth's wife.

The couple moved to Michigan from Mexico. Carrillo said Wilberth's family back in Guadalajara hasn't heard from him either.

He was last seen at their apartment on Wiltshire Court off of West Hamlin Road near Crooks Road. Carrillo said Wilberth often walks on a trail near their apartment.

“I saw his cigarettes and his lighter. And that’s the most strange thing because he never go out with his lighter," she told 7 Action News.

In addition to his cigarettes, something he usually doesn’t leave the house without, Wilberth also doesn’t have his wallet, passport or his valid work visa.

“This doesn’t sound like Wilberth at all," said Javier Del Real, his close friend.

Wilberth is 5-foot-9 with a medium build. He is bald with blue eyes and was last seen wearing jeans and black running shoes.

His cell phone, which has a Mexican phone number, is also gone. Del Real said the phone was off, but appeared to be on over the weekend when they attempted to reach Wilberth. There was no answer.

"I just want to know what has happened," Carrillo told Action News.
