ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WXYZ) — Leaders in Royal Oak are working on regulations for recreational marijuana use in the city.
A town hall was held Monday night about the issue.
The Royal Oak City Commission is asking for community input on deciding whether or not to allow marijuana businesses to open in their town. About 70 percent of Royal Oak voters were in favor of the drug on the November ballot.
The town hall was held to give the commission a better understanding of what to do moving forward.
The mayor says the city will create a survey for residents in the next few weeks.
