City officials in Royal Oak will be presenting a new, proposed $100 million civic center today.
Commissioners will be looking for feedback after the presentation.
If this plan is approved, city hall and the police station would be torn down to make room for the project. The funding was achieved through a public - private partnership. It would cost the city about $58 million.
Once it is all done, there will be a new downtown park, parking deck and a new police station.
It is going to be discussed during the regular commission meeting tonight at 7:30 p.m.
The public is encouraged to attend and give some feedback.
