SOUTHFIELD, MICH (WXYZ) — Gear up for summer and save big at The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center Family Thrift Stores’ annual Memorial Day Sale.

Visit any of the 35 southeast Michigan locations to enjoy 50 percent off men’s, women’s and children’s clothing on Monday, May 27. In addition to 50 percent savings on clothing, all new mattresses and box springs will be 10 percent off and shoppers will have opportunities to pick up extra deals on summer essentials, accessories, home goods and other items during bonus sales announced every two hours throughout the day.

Most stores will feature extended hours from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., excluding the Dearborn Heights location at 8525 Telegraph and the Detroit locations at 5600 E. 8 Mile Road and 1200 W. Fort Street respectively.
Proceeds from all 35 metro Detroit Family Thrift Stores benefit The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center’s independently funded, 180-day residential rehabilitation program for men and women.

Donations of gently used clothing, linens, household appliances, furniture, toys, shoes, purses and housewares are accepted at all Salvation Army thrift store donation centers. There are safety reasons and other guidelines governing what can be resold. For this reason, The Salvation Army is not able to accept all donations.
