Another Sears store in metro Detroit is going away, as Sears Holdings announced it is closing the store at Oakland Mall.

The company announced the closure in a press release that also included a list of nine other Sears stores and one Kmart store that will close.

In late May, the company announced that it was closing four Sears in Michigan. Those stores in Flint, Dearborn, Sterling Heights and Traverse City could shut down as early as September.

The store is expected to close in late September but liquidation sales are expected to begin as early as July 13.

In January, Sears said it would lay off about 220 people from its corporate offices, effective immediately. Earlier that month, they also said it planned to cut $200 million this year.

The company closed hundreds of stores in 2017 and already intended to close 103 more this spring, not including the now more than 80 they now plan to close.
