The Michigan Department of Transportation says bridge inspectors did not find any damage to a bridge during an initial investigation after a semi hit it early Monday morning.
The semi hit the underside of the underside of the bridge on westbound I-94 at Warren Ave. in Detroit.
The highway was closed for a short period of time while they removed the semi, and it is currently back open.
When the semi is towed away, they will conduct a more thorough investigation.
