Shield's Restaurant and Pizzeria will open a new location in Detroit's Midtown, according to co-owner Paul Andoni.
The new location is expected to open around January 1, 2019.
It will be in the former Maccabees Traders' building in Midtown across from the Detroit Institute of Arts on Woodward Avenue.
Customers can look forward to a new menu, brunch and more handmade food.
Shield's currently has locations in Troy, Southfield and Macomb.
