It’s basketball and pizza mania in metro Detroit.

If you missed your chance at free pizza from Little Caesar’s Monday for the shocking NCAA upset of a No. 16 seed beating a No. 1 seed, you still have a chance to score Tuesday.

Shield’s Restaurant and Pizzeria in metro Detroit will give away free pizza if the University of Michigan beats No. 1 Villanovain Monday night’s NCAA March Madness matchup.

“We all want U of M to win it all,” said Shield’s co-owner Paul Andoni, is a UM grad.

Free pizza will be given away at all Shield’s locations: Troy, Southfield and Macomb April 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This is dine-in only deal. Pizza-lovers will get one free pizza with one topping. Additional toppings will be available at regular price. One to two customers will receive one small pizza and groups of three or more will receive one large pizza. Beverages not included.
