Sketch of suspect released in sexual assault of 14-year-old Detroit girl

Detroit police have released a sketch of a suspect wanted in the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl earlier this week.

According to police, the teen was walking in the area of Whittier and Duchess on the city's east side around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect approached her with a knife and forced her to a nearby alley before sexually assaulting her.

The suspect then fled from the alley toward Morang and then from there unknown.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-feet-9, 200-225 pounds with short braids, a full beard and wearing a black hoodie, black pants and black Air Force One shoes.
