TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) — Taylor police are investigating a smash-and-grab at J.B. Robinson Jewelers in Southland Center Mall.

Police say two African American men used a hammer to smash a jewelry case.
Investigators believe people confused the sound of broken glass for gunfire.
The suspects left the mall in a black Jeep Commander.
No arrests have been made.
No one was hurt.
