Snow showers will pick up this afternoon and evening but some of them could become squalls. Snow squalls are intense snow showers, that create "mini blizzard" like conditions. They're awful for motorist due to their random nature. One moment you're driving on dry pavement at highway speeds and next thing you know, you're hit with low visibility and snow covered roads.

Snow showers will be at their heaviest from 2pm - 7pm. Once the sunsets, the intensity and coverage to the snow showers will diminish. Unfortunately, this same scenario is expected for Wednesday before the warm up arrives.
