Southbound I-75 was closed at Mack Avenue in Detroit Friday morning due to a fatal crash.
Michigan State Police says a wrong-way driver was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of SB I-75 with no lights when she collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was killed, police say.
The secondary driver was trapped and had to be cut out of her vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital, where her current condition is unknown.
The freeway re-opened around 9 a.m. Friday morning.
