Southbound I-75 reopens at I-94 in Detroit

MDOT says southbound I-75 will close at I-94 in Detroit for emergency bridge repairs following an accident involving a truck on Tuesday afternoon. VIEW LIVE TRAFFIC MAP According to MDOT, the closure will last through the afternoon. Crews will have to remove the outside beam of the Warren bridge. On top of that closure, the east and westbound ramps of I-94 to southbound I-75 will be closed through the afternoon.

MDOT says southbound I-75 is now open at I-94 in Detroit.

It was previously closed for emergency bridge repairs following an accident involving a truck on Tuesday afternoon.

According to MDOT, crews removed the outside beam of the Warren bridge.

Northbound I-75 from Mack to I-94 also had the left lane closed but the three right lanes will remain open.

A semi truck hit the overpass at Warren on Tuesday afternoon and crews had to take the beam out.
